What's your boat worth?
If you currently own an old wood boat, you may be interested to know what it's worth. We've built extensive knowledge of the world's vintage watercraft market over the last 30 years, including the number of any particular makes and models that may still exist. In order to provide a truly accurate estimate of your boat's value, we need to physically inspect it. In special circumstances we can make arrangements to come to you, such as estate valuations or trade-in situations, though our preferred method is a thorough inspection at one of our restoration facilities.
You are welcome to deliver it yourself, or we can arrange transportation. To learn more about our transportation expertise and services, click here.
Once your boat arrives at our facility, we perform a comprehensive evaluation. This includes structural, mechanical and systems examinations.
This evaluation allows us to understand the specific strengths of your boat, as well as to identify any potential issues. Our evaluation process can take between four to twelve hours (depending on the specific boat) to accomplish, and is billed to you at our regular shop rate (currently $90/hour). The results of the evaluation help us prepare a true value of your vintage boat. Rates for estate valuations and trade-in situations may vary.
