Find the Boat of Your Dreams
Only a fraction of the boats sold by Mahogany Bay ever become official inventory. We often find boats for select customers long before they hit the open market. To find a particular boat of interest, or for more information about our current collection, please Contact Us.
Mahogany Bay. Passion. Disguised as business.
F. Todd Warner. Chairman, CEO.
Todd has actively been buying, selling, and restoring vintage boats since the mid-seventies. He has personally owned over 1000 vintage boats. He is a leading authority in the vintage boating field, proficient in the history and authenticity of well-known and obscure boat builders and designers. His personal resources include a 6,000-item library, which contain the complete collections of Weston Farmer N.A. (ELCO boats) and William Tenney. Todd frequently lectures on the historical perspective of restoration procedures for vintage watercraft and has been called upon to be an expert witness in cases involving wooden boats.
Dave Bortner. President.
Dave combines a lifelong interest in vintage boats with years of corporate experience in sales, marketing, sourcing and operations. Dave’s passion for vintage boats began as a teenager. After he and his father completed a number of vintage auto and furniture restorations, they restored a vintage boat. They enjoyed the process so much that they started a boat restoration business as a way to finance Dave’s college education.
Dave bought and sold a great number of vintage boats. He met Todd Warner in 1977. They became friends and kept in touch over the next twenty-five years. After a successful career spanning sales, marketing, and personnel management for companies in the power sports market, Dave became involved with Mahogany Bay. He consulted on sales, marketing, restoration shop management, financial management, and hiring. He was ultimately named President in 2002.
