This much-modified John L. Hacker classic runabout was built as a WWII radio controlled target boat (to eliminate friendly-fire casualties from overeager & inaccurate gunnery students). She fortunately survived any gunnery miscues. In the 1950's the deck layout was changed from that of a conventional runabout to a commuter with a bridge deck by the famed marine design team of Eldredge and McInnis. In the 1990's she was completely rebuilt, and her big Kermath replacement engine pushes her effortlessly to 40+ mph.
