About Us
Nate Onken. Transportation Manager.
Nate is a Lake Minnetonka native who spent much of his youth boating, fishing, and skiing around the area.
After graduating from Minnetonka High School, Nate served for four years in the Marine Corps as an airport firefighter. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant, having served in California, North Carolina, and Japan.
After returning to Minnesota, Nate began working on the charter boat The Queen of Excelsior. After spending a season as First Mate, he was promoted to Captain and spent the next 7 seasons working on the lake. Nate spent those winters working for Mahogany Bay, and came onboard full-time in 2006.
Nate’s position as Transportation Manager keeps him busy picking up and dropping off boats all over the United States and Canada.
